Sales Consultant – Hamptonville

Responsible for nurturing customers through the long and complex sales process, the successful candidate will fit the following profile:

  • Must have a highly developed understanding and knowledge of applied consultative sales;
  • Must have well-developed business communications and sales presentation skills;
  • Must have the ability to effectively prospect and present our services against stiff competition

Requirements include:

  • 2 – 5 years high performance sales experience
  • Determined prospector and effective closer
  • Must be eager to learn, develop an expert understanding of our products and services
  • Self-managed and able to operate independently
  • Must be able to work effectively in a “Team Sales” based organization
  • BA/BS Degree preferred, but not required

Sedgewick Homes offers:

  • Training salary plus excellent commission plan (first year potential $60,000 – $80,000) with uncapped earning potential

Candidates must possess:

  • Integrity

  • Great listening skills & creative problem solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills both verbal & written, with the ability to create vision
  • A proven background in prospecting and follow with prospective customers
  • Proven closing skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually
  • Previous sales/consulting experience preferred in high-end products and/or services
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Marketing strategies
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task

Job responsibilities include:

  • Meeting monthly/quarterly sales goals
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prospecting, marketing & promoting new business
  • Follow up with prospects throughout the sales and construction process
  • Develop and Maintaining a relationship with the Realtor community
  • Participate in events (Trade Shows, Fairs, Festivals etc…)
  • Working & communicating effectively with customers & team-members
  • Understanding the loan process
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings & some holidays
