Here at Sedgewick Homes, we understand the stress of building your dream home. We hope to make it as easy as possible for you to have the home of your dreams, on the land of your dreams.

Step 1

The first step to find your perfect home is to decide where you are going to build your dream home. Whether you already own land or are looking to purchase land through your construction loan, we are here to help you along the way. If you need help finding land, our Sales Consultants can set you up with a land search or a realtor who can help you find the perfect place for your dream home.

Step 2

The next step is to obtain a pre-qualification or pre-approval letter from your lender of choice or one of our lenders. This is needed before entering into the contract phase of your home building process. This will help to narrow down which homes, or which homes with some modification, will fit into your budget and will prevent some heartbreak down the road.

Step 3

Next, it is time to finalize on your house plan and sign the contract. How many bedrooms do you need? Do you need a garage? Do you want a basement? How about a bonus room, perfect for a growing family? Would a ranch or two- story home better suit your lifestyle? Sedgewick Homes requires a non-refundable deposit when you sign your contract on your dream home. This will then be applied to the cost of your home before closing at the end of the building process.

Step 4

After you've signed your contract you will need to close on your construction loan before we can begin building your dream home. While under construction, we will have weekly photo updates of construction posted to this website and your member portal.
